Just Mommy and Me!

Today Nora and I had a great day together. We spent about two and a half hours at Marshalls! Yes it can be done! Nora was so good she just hung out and looked at everything going on around her. I went specifically looking for some stuff for our future playroom and i lucked out pretty well. I got a window valence, two picture frames and a decoration for a wall shelf. I also managed to find two things for Ava's Easter basket, a Dora soccer ball and a book. I also got Ava Ralph Lauren snow boots on clearance for $10, and a pair of Oshkosh brown dress shoes for next year on sale for $7. Grandma got the girls each something for Easter! I am oh so excited but will keep it a secret for now! I did get one tank top for me too! It was a great shopping trip! After that, we took the girls for ice scream with Meghann and Ella, Nora slept through it all but boy did Ava love it. Needless to say after a long day both are sound asleep!

Trip to the Zoo

Well we had our first successful zoo trip today. It was such a fun relaxing day with the girls. Kory took the day off, and we left when i got out of work. The girls both napped on the way up so they were in great moods when we got there. I was so excited that both girls were free to get in and the it was very inexpensive for myself and Kory. Ava loved all the big animals, anything she could see really good she liked. Her favorite thing to do was to bark and the animals. Nora was a very good girl too, she hung out in her stroller or had me carry her! Oh i just love nice days! Pictures to follow. :-)

Oh Happy Day

I would just like to announce that I finally ordered my new camera lens. I got a 50mm 1.8 and could not be more excited about it. I will be stalking USPS website untill it gets here! Look out girls here comes the photoshoots!

4 Months

So we were off to yet another doctor visit. Between you and your sister i feel like we live there! This time however it was just me and you that went. Dr. L loved you, she kept commenting on how blue your eyes were and how big your smile is. I would have to agree you are a beautiful and happy baby. Everything looked great at this visit, she called you my little peanut. You weighed 13lbs 8 ounces and were 23 and a half inches long. I think you are just perfect! You got the ok to start rice cereal, but I think I am still going to wait a while untill you are at least five months old, you just seem to little still to be eating food and you love nursing! You got another round of shots today and I have to say I think I took it worse than you did, you cried for less than a mintue and than you were fine. We got home and the long nap set in, which always happens after shots! Well Nora I love you and I am excited too see what the next four months brings our way!
