Here are some cute pictures of miss Nora! She really loves the playmat she is borrowing from her friend Ella, and I love taking pictures of her on it! Upside down!And of course the famous "Squished" face that daddy loves to do!
Oh and Nora also has her first battle wound(on her cheek), she tipped over and fell on one of Ava's puzzle pieces. The first of many im sure!

Without Fail...

Since the day Ava was born right up till now, without fail every time I get the girls ready to leave one of them decides to POOP!
I have always wondered if this is just me or if other mothers experience this too, but man it just really amazes me!
I don't know if it is something about the feeling of shoes and a coat on that just relaxes them or what but come on girls momma needs a break! :-)

Just For Fun

This one is a little blurry, but i could not resist it, they are just so cute, and looking more and more alike!When Nora woke up from her nap, Ava decided it was a must that she got in the crib with her. Of course immediatly she took on role of little mother and restarted the music for Nora. Nora was a little tired at first but it did not take her long to wake up!

Earth Day

Sure the girls do not understand for Earth Day is different than any other day, but one day they will. One day they will understand why we don't buy the big cases of water at the grocery store, but rather refill our Brita water filter. They will be so use to grabbing the reusable shopping bags before we leave for the store, rather than coming home with a mess of plastic bags. The girls will come to love recycling, and quickly learn that it is a part of our daily lives. Why? because, we only have one Earth to live on, the more we do to help the better. For now though it is just another day to them, another day for Mommy to take silly pictures!

My love for Etsy!

Etsy.Com is a great and fun website that everyone should check out. It is all homemade items for sale. I recently ordered three posters for the girls future playroom, and they CAME today! I was so excited when I pulled in the driveway and saw the big box on the porch. I could not wait to get the girls inside, and the groceries put away so i could get the box open and look at them! They are even better in person!



This last one is a close up of what the one above it says on the bottom! These are exactly what i had in mind when i decided i wanted to do posters on the wall, and the girl who made them was just wonderful to work with and so helpful! I highly recommend her! If you go to Etsy.com and type in jpcreativedesign you will see all her wonderful work!

Now i just cant wait for the playroom to be done!

Happy Easter!

Well another Easter has come and gone, but this one was extra special for our little family! We not only had Ava but we also had Nora this year! It is so much more fun around the holidays when you have kids to spend your time with!

We had quite the busy day. We started the day by having Ava open her easter basket while Nora was still sleeping! Ava loved this, she was really quite into easter this year, between the egg hunts and the baskets! Ava got a soccer ball, bubbles, a book, skittles, ladybug sunglasses, rubber duck, and a few other things in her basket from "the easter bunny" Here she is going threw it! Of course she notices the candy first

After we got threw the basket, we were headed off to church! Service was so wonderful this year, the girls were both very well behaved and the music and message were great! Right after church we did our family tradition on my side of going to PaneraBread for lunch. Of course we were like the only ones there, but it was still so nice. Of course my mom wanted a family picture!

After Panera, we heading to Mimi's house for an EasterEgg Hunt she was doing for all the grandkids. Ava at this point was in meltdown mode, and wanted no part in being there! I felt so bad and was highly embarrassed. She did though manage to pull it together to collect seven eggs!
After that, we came home and put the girls down for there much needed naps! Kory and I even laid down for about an hour. It was so nice!
Once the girls woke up , we headed to my parents house for dinner! The food was great and we had such a nice time visiting! Nora was so good all day, and Ava hung in there well herself!

Fun Day!

Today Nora went with Grandma and myself to get facials! We took turns watching her while the other was in the room. The facials were amazing, one of the most relaxing hours I have had in a long time! When are facials were done we went over to the mall, I was going to have Nora meet the easter bunny but the line was insane, so that became unappealing very quickly! Mom and I had a nice lunch at subway and an excellent time shopping!
Tomorrow is a busy day for us! We have church in the morning than an easter egg hunt at mimi's and dinner at grandma amy's house! We sure do love the holidays!

Its all coming back!

I am now remembering why I took so many pictures of Ava from birth to about 9 months old! She couldn't move! It is near impossible now to get any good pictures of Ava! I guess I better enjoy it for now with Nora, because all to soon she will be mobile as well!
This last one is my favorite! Her eyes just melt me!

MAJOR FAIL!!!!

I guess next time we go to take the pictures I might as well not even listen to the weather forcast because it is never right! They day ended up being sunny but so windy that the girls were miserable and cold(which i dont blame them). So here are the very few ok ones I got! Better luck next time I suppose! Oh and I hope the next attempt is a little less sunny!
